It is with deep sadness that we share the passing of John Capricorn, a valued member of the Freedom Meat Lockers family and a cherished presence in our community for more than a decade. For over 10 years, John faithfully served as our parking attendant, greeting customers and staff with kindness, warmth, and a welcoming spirit that left a lasting impression on everyone who crossed his path.
John was more than an employee — he was a friend, a devoted father, and someone whose steady presence became an important part of daily life at Freedom Meat Lockers. His dedication, reliability, and genuine care for others reflected the values we hold close as a business and as a community. Whether sharing a smile, lending a helping hand, or simply brightening someone’s day with his friendly personality, John made people feel seen and appreciated.
Throughout the years, he built meaningful relationships with customers, coworkers, and neighbors alike. Many came to know and respect him not only for his hard work, but also for the compassion and positivity he carried with him every day. His absence will be deeply felt by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
As we remember John’s life and legacy, we also honor the impact he made on our team and the countless individuals he encountered over the years. We are grateful for the time we shared with him and for the memories he leaves behind.
On behalf of everyone at Freedom Meat Lockers, we extend our heartfelt condolences, thoughts, and prayers to John’s family, friends, and loved ones during this difficult time. May they find comfort in the love and support surrounding them and strength in the memories they hold dear.
